Good morning sr. Went to meeting last night. It was a first step meeting. And I walked away knowing tht If I drink again, I will die. A member of my home group was found Sunday. Iv drugs, pills and booze. He couldn't break away from the addiction. Very sad story. Young guy, maybe 25. Because I know I have a drinking problem, and I believe I cannot do this on my own and have to turn my will over, I will never have to drink again. I won't hve to do damage control, no hangover, no embarrassment. No shame. None of it. I will be free!!!!!
Please, if u are struggling, arm yourself with knowledge. Ask for help from face to face people, put down the drink. You aren't alone and you don't have to live like this!!!! Best wishes!
