I suspect they were 'implying' that you had not removed the child from the situa-
tion evolving. That report can be an 'asset' to your petition to the Court, as you
can show that you are attempting to do something to 'stop' the child from being
in the 'toxic' environment.

CPS can be an 'asset' for you in this. It might not hurt to talk to the Social Worker
that wrote the report, and tell him/her that you are taking their report 'Very
Seriously' and do they have any suggestions to help you get this 'Supervised
Visitation' approved by Family Court (they have TONS of experience with Family
Court, lol). Better to have them as a 'friend' rather than as an 'enemy'.

I applaud you for looking out for your child!!!! They are like little sponges and
absorb so much information, and living in 'toxicity' as a child can affect them
into adulthood (just go read some posts over in the Adult Children of Addicts/
Alcoholics forum).

We can and will walk through this with you in spirit.
