Minimizing cusody issues

My AW is in a slowed, almost controlled relapse. Over the counter meds that cause drowsiness seem to stay within constant reach, but the controlled Rx's have slowed down. They only get filled within the time frame that the insurance allows, wheres before they were being refilled off of our insurance and simply paid as cash.

All that being said, the OTC meds and the prescribed Rx's are still being aggressively taken.

How would one prepare the best way for custody fight so as to minimize the time this DA has with a child?

Sure a lawyer could answer that best, but any insight from anyone who's lived it would be welcomed.

Thanks
