I haven't posted much lately as I've been struggling with depression since the loss of my job, and some ongoing family issues (elderly parents and
both daughters).
I have been feeling the need to "be of service to others" in order to get out of self, and viola, an opportunity has come up!
Looks like there is enough interest to get an Alanon group going again in my small town, and I've got foot work to do. I am so excited to get that face-to-face support going again.
When all else fails, work with another. I know that this opportunity is going to boost my recovery.
My higher power always provides.
