It's never too late to make positive, healthy
changes in our lives no matter how old we
are. I was 30 when I entered rehab/recovery
back in August 1990 and here I am in my
50's and feel as young as I ever have. Sobriety
has given me a wonderful purpose in life and
that allows me to wake up each sober day
filled with gratefullness and graditude.

I opened my ears and mind to all the knowledge
and tools offered to us in a program of recovery
and have applied and incorperated them in my
every day life and affairs.

There are promises and rewards granted to us
that will come true as time goes by and we remain
sober and pass on our own ESH - experiences,
strengths and hopes of what our life was like
before, during and after our drinking careers to
others struggling with addiction just like us.

So, on that note, i say welcome to recovery and
a happier way of living life addiction free.
