You might be going in to Jail, but your coming out too.
It is not forever.
It is not LWOP.
It could have been much, much worse.
Something awful could have happened that would have sent you to prison for a long, long, long time.
You could be hated throughout the whole area you live in.
Your could have caused misery to another family if someone had been killed. It might have been a child, a mother, a dad, a grandparent.
I think your higher power (whether you believe or not) has stepped in to give you another chance at having a happy life.
Stepped in to prevent things from becoming much, much worse for you.
Take this chance and make the most out of it.
Do what you have to do.
Be a shining example while your doing it.
Be grateful for anything you learn from this experience.
And look forward to your life when it is all over.
It is not the end of your world, it is the start of it!
