Leaving it to God!! (Copied)
I saw this on another thread, posted by Stepping!! I think it's a great idea. I thought perhaps we could do it here as well.
This is the original post.
I have a jar called my "God Jar".
"When I hand something over to God; be it a situation, character flaw, emotion..etc that I can't carry around anymore I write it down and drop it in my jar and seal it back up and leave it to God and walk away.
Example: Today I put in "selfishness". B/C..I was praying and my prayer to bless someone else and their family suddenly turned back about me without my intention
I thought it would be helpful in recovery to have a "Leave it With God Thread" where here you can write down what you would like to leave with God.....or to give you the idea to create your own God jar. Somebody gave me this idea and it helps me TONS."
