The fact that you've found us and are asking the questions you're asking tells me that, in your gut, there's trouble down this road. The question you should be asking yourself is do you have the strength and the wisdom to listen to your gut.
Speaking from personal, intimate experience, I can tell you the consequences of not listening to your gut can be enormous.
