I can totally relate to the half drunk sitting around in front of the tv thing. My first stint of soberness all of a sudden it just seemed like I had so much time on my hands, I didn't even know what to do with it.

This time around...I have adopted a little dog. He was my aunt and uncle's dog, and a they were aging they found they were having trouble really caring for him like they needed to. I took him home on Thanksgiving and he is curled up on my lap right now as I type this. We've already been for two long walks today. It feels so good to have a little companion and yet another reason to stay sober.
