Hi there! My sober date is 12/23/2008. I ran across this site somewhere either on FB or "In the Rooms" site. I liked what I saw, and wha-la!
I just moved from sunny San Diego to rainy Seattle area, and the person I'm staying with wasn't too honest with her "drinking" habits. She's been clean since the '80's, but from what I can see, tell and smell! she needs the rooms like I did before it was almost too late. I don't want to see her making the same mistakes I did...so for now, I'm trying to set a "sober example" and always invite her to the meetings I've found in the last week and a half that I've been here. Oh, and listen to her ramble...as only us drunks can do when we are sauced! lol...and you, my new friend??? :P
