Now, for the real stuff.
If you think you are addicted, you probably are. You should discuss this with your doctor who perscribes the pills. He/she SHOULD help you detox and find alternatives to the addictive pain meds. Don't try to detox on your own. There are some unpleasant side effects and your doctor can help you avoid that.
you may want to try NA --but if you are in need of pain medication for a real problem, ask your doctor to refer you to a pain management specialist and be very upfront about what you shared here. You are not the first person and won't be the last to have this problem.
