You have to take drunk phone calls with a pinch of salt. The chances are that he won't remember that he called. If he does... it will be another thing to add to his list of regrets. I've done drunk phone calls in the past and regretted them, I have also received them and laughed (because they sound deranged and pathetic) ho hum. Thats the joy of alcohol!
