Looking at the recovery programmes around is a good place to start I think
If public's not your thing, a lot of recovery programmes have online meetings now...some programmes like Rational Recovery have no meetings at all

Secular Connections forum if you think you may benefit from a non 12 step approach, like Rational Recovery or SMART
at least look through the links...get a feel for whats out there
