Thank you Coffeespoons! It is very nice to hear from someone a year out. I'm only at five weeks, but figure a year will pass - either drinking or sober.......so why not be sober? I agree after a few drinks, most people, don't notice if you're drinking or not. I attended an AA meeting a week ago, and one man referred to me as a "high bottomed" drinker - one who quit on a higher point, as opposed to hitting rock bottom....I'd never hear the phrase before. I said " Well, a drunk is a drunk....regardless of when / where they quit". Congratulations
