We may certainly work up our resolve to make the Big Plan, but once made, the Big Plan is the ultimate resolve. It is unconditional, defiant, and final, and is not dependent on the strength or frequency of AV activity. Our threshold of confidence for lifetime abstinence is set
arbitrarily to 100%, and any thinking that suggests otherwise, such as the idea that the Big Plan needs additional fortification over time, is AV.
