I used to have the same reputation, until I started losing it in my mid 40s.
Actually, this is an early symptom of alcoholism. People that can drink a lot of booze with no apparent ill effect are much more likely to become alcoholics. I learned this from the book
"Under the Influence", which I highly recommend
