In early recovery up to the 2nd yr sober,
counting was important. Why you ask, because
for this alcoholic, everyday sober and not drinking
was a miracle. When I reached my 2 yr anniversary
sober, I was then able to begin living in recovery
and not worry about counting which wasnt as
important as other things in my life.
