This definitly is my experience.
The loneliness, the ache, the grasping at people to save me, the worship of false idols (cars, money, clothing) were drowning out the Truth that resided within me the whole time. The illusion that I am separate from God was healed and is healed using the 12 steps. They are my "Route" to power, to the Truth.
Definance is my number one characteristic. I defied the Truth, ridiculed those who depended on God.
I pray asking God to set my heart on fire, to light up every room of my house with love and passion.
I am so grateful for the 12 steps and py my gratitude forward by carrying a message of hope using the 12 steps. Emancipation!
I seek to broaden my experience of God to recover me from the illusions of the world, so i can bask in his glory.
