Yes I've spoken to him about it so many times. The problem is he doesn't take it seriously. Because he's never been caught DUI, he thinks he never will. He just doesn't see getting that drunk as a problem
and until he does he hasn't got the incentive to do anything about it. I feel powerless. I know it will happen again and again and nothing I say to him will get through...
If he could grasp the severity of his actions then yes, I think he could stop drinking because I don't think he's addicted to the alcohol or dependent on it, he's just an idiot when it comes to drinking responsibly.
