My A used to drink beer, wine, rum or vodka. I didn't notice any difference-he got drunk and behaved like a drunk on all of them. Now he only drinks the cheap local cane liquor. The only thing different is that now he's sick all the time in addition to being drunk. But that's probably because his drinking has increased so much.

Haha. Any drink does it for my dad. Vodka, beer, cooking wine, doesn't matter. They make him ugly.
That was one of the early clues that his drinking was becoming a real problem-the cooking sherry started to disappear.
