Today is my new day one, again. I am meeting with a therapist. As part of this meeting, the discussion of goal setting was had. In my case, other than the obvious need to stop drinking, I have a trip planned the end of next month. On this trip, I will be will family and friends who do indeed drink quite a bit. I believe that I need to be able to get started and have several weeks under my belt prior to the trip to hope to have any chance of not drinking during the trip. I would be very proud to be able to tell famly and friends thanks, but know, when the booze starts to flow. This has given me a goal to work towards so that is my plan. Luck.
