Since we're on the topic of 'one day at a time', it is worth noting that this comes from
the serenity prayer, and refers to
living one day at a time. It has been perverted to mean quitting one day at a time, but that was never the idea, even within AA. The idea was to quit for good and all. In case anyone doubts this, see the following:
