Four months today!
Four months ago I had my last alcoholic drink. This is the longest I've managed to go in the three years or so since I realized I had a problem with alcohol and needed to address it. It may not seem huge, but it seems huge to me right now.
I know I don't have many posts here, but I've been around this forum for a while, with a different name. I came back recently and couldn't remember my login credentials, so here I am. I kind of like starting fresh. I wanted to get some time under my belt this time before I started spouting my stuff all over the forum. However, that doesn't mean that this forum doesn't inspire me, and I'm sure much of what I've learned here has been instrumental in getting me this far.
I am also in AA, I am working the steps with a sponsor, and I consider peer support to be vital in my recovery. Thanks for being here and letting me share this journey with you.
