I think we've hashed this one out enough.
There are no rules on who to reply to, how to reply to them, or when to reply to them. There is no rule on using (or not using) the thanks button.
It comes with the software. You don't have to use it, or you can use it indiscriminately
It's up to you guys.
We know, and expect, y'all are adults.
We have no plans to change that attitude or the way the site runs - we're constantly monitoring the ways things work and 99.9% of our our 80, 000 members seem happy enough
