I agree completely about avoiding the Valium if at all possible (only sharing my own experience, not intending to give med. advice), I've kicked benzos several times and it is a beast, it can easily turn into a very nasty addiction. Tell Mr. Smith to be careful and good luck Oh, and welcome to SR! This is a wonderful place for support.
