Tomorrow is my birthday. This will be my first sober birthday in.....umm...hmmm...A VERY LONG TIME! If I were to guess, the last time I was sober on my birthday was when I was 16. Holy cow! That's 15 years of NON SOBER BIRTHDAYS!
Its pretty awesome though. Tonight I'm just laying on my bed, laptop on my chest, eating some bottle cap candy hehehehe, window wide open breathing the fresh Sierra Mountain air, sipping on some hot tea, and enjoying every second of it - Completely Sober!
Previously on this particular night before my birthday, I would have been a bottle deep into a serious alcoholic binge by now. At some bar, or out somewhere is a drunken stupor. But NOT tonight my friends..Not tonight
But rather tonight I move forward into the very first year that I will be completely sober in. Damn it feels good people!
