Last holiday season, and the one before, and the one before, stretching back year after year after year were just excuses to get even more wasted than normal, even though getting that wasted was abnormal. It was a family tradition. I remember setting out cookies and bourbon for Santa when I was a kid. My dad starting on the special eggnog first thing Xmas morning, sharing with me and the dog.
