I had an extraordinarily busy few months wrapping stuff up at work. I retired on December 1 (

I just shared at our annual gratitude candlelight meeting (where sharing is limited to 30 seconds--everybody shares and it's a BIG meeting) that I'm grateful for my benefits (which a lot of people don't have) and REALLY grateful I'm not embarking on this, um, less structured phase of my life as an active alcoholic.
