I used to say that the place I needed to be in order to find recovery is on my knees.....and I know that God has done for me what I can't do for myself. The funny thing is, I have found more God in meetings then in any church i have gone to (I've been to a few) I dont do meetings regularly, about 2-3 a week and I just started attending them the last month (I'm 5 months clean too) and suddenly things I heard before in meetings have started to make sense.
