Least, I know what you mean about dogs on the bed. I only have my one, but I love to see her sprawled out, so content and peaceful. Makes me feel like all is right with the world. And in her world, it is! I have a lot to learn from her.
What's so rewarding also is knowing that my sobriety is the reason I can take such good care of them.
That I'm doing the best job and giving them the best care makes me feel like superman.
This morning Im grateful to wake up to a bed full of dogs.
And last night when I let Patches out for bedtime potty I went and did something else. When I came back to the door she was sitting in front of it waiting to be let in!
Such a sweet smart dog she is. Today is one week since I got her but it feels like she's always been here.
