Talk to your doctor. You will be more likely to stay sober if you reach out for help from something like AA too. You might not need to go to the hospital, the doctor might be able to give you something to help calm your nerves if the withdrawals are mild.

But definitely talk to your doctor. One guy at the meetings I attend ended up in a coma for several days trying to go cold turkey. Almost killed him.
