Great post, Humbled! I agree with everything on your list. I particularly like the one that said "being funny to others, instead of just thinking I am being funny"..... it's so true.
It's an illusion that drinking makes up more fun to be around. In fact, the opposite is true and people much prefer the sober us. I've observed this in my friends/family who still drink (even after just 2 or 3 drinks). It's like they're not all "there."
I'm sure you be able to observe plenty of this at the wedding. Be proud of being able to set an example with your sobriety! It's great that you're thinking ahead. One thing I've done during those kind of occasions is to try to be helpful, busy myself with taking pictures, and enjoy the food (helps with cravings). Sounds to me like you'll do just fine!
