Before recovery those 20 questions described my life perfectly. Yes, hell yes, and you better believe it would have answered every one of them.
Looking at this today, gratefully with some strong recovery under my belt, I read that list and ask myself "What WAS I thinking?"
I thought that I was "the one" who could save my son. I was the one who knew what he needed to do and how he needed to live and I was the Queen of Control.

If a newcomer sees themselves on that list and feels embarrassed, just know that most of us old timers were exactly where you are today and we finally learned a better way to live...you can too.
