Day 5 - feeling great!

After being back out for something like 6 weeks, I'm finally back on the sobriety train! Only on day 5, but I'm feeling really positive. It's really nice to experience stuff without being high all the time. I get to start actually living my life again. Alcohol almost took my life away and weed has kept me from living. Glad to have those influences out of my life.

I'm reading 2 really excellent books that I think will help me in my sobriety. One is about accepting and loving yourself and one is sort of relating the 12 steps to Buddhist teachings (I'm not Buddhist, but I'm a big fan of some of the principles). Plus, having a good book to read is a nice way to keep my mind of any cravings or triggers.
