Natamars, I could have wrote your post in December! I did bail my husband out of jail at 3 am and took him to court in the morning and all the running around needed to get his truck back and see an Atty. I have done very little since that time, which has forced my husband to take care of his own problems. My husband has not had a drink since. He was forced to go to counseling, lost his drivers license for a year, spent 14 days in work release jail and it has cost us around $3,000. He too has tracked all these expenses and has done some extra stuff to help replace the money spent. I am just so thankful that no one was hurt and he is no longer drinking. During this time, I have learned a lot about myself and have learned to make his problem HIS problem, and not mine. Our life is finally getting to a good place!

I am hopeful that your husband will continue not drinking and soon your life will be in a better place.
