Well luckily I'm going to be in NY and then Washington DC. I've been to both before so have a fair knowledge and there's so much to do. Last time in NY I spent a whole day in the hotel room drinking while my husband had to go to Florida overnight. What a waster!
I am really relishing the prospect of working my way up and down the galleries and museums in the DC Mall plus my husband knows what I'm trying to do and is being extra supportive re. the evening commitments. Maybe even a trip out to Mount Vernon?
i know it's very early but in my mind I can see the point of doing things even without alcohol which is completely new for me!
