One thing I have learned here is that there is a lot of different ideas about what a sponsor should do.
So talk to yours and ask what she thinks. Some sponsors will want to get to know you personally, others will limit themselves to steps. There are many other things.
Long ago I never bothered asking how things were supposed to go with my sponsors. That was a mistake. They and I made assumptions--and we should have talked instead!
