I've experienced them. They're horrible - I can remember many times waking in terror and not being able to get back to sleep until the sun came up.
But really? It was nothing to the horror I was putting myself through every day when I was drinking.
The nightmares did pass for me...but if you're worried, please do speak with your Dr.
