Day 9 - rehab for Kelly
I was busy all day, so far, today, in Homewood Healthcare Centre...learned lots.
Day 9 of 35.
The social worker just spent over 2 hours talking about relapse prevention:
Having a structured day
Going to meetings
Eating/sleeping properly
Letting go of former "friends", who were simply people we associated with, all of whom used
Not dating someone who is still in active addiction
Doing breathing exercises
Doing a gratitude list
etc.
Have to go, another lecture soon, then dinner, then an AA meeting - we have to go to 1 meeting a day (and 2 on Saturdays, and 2 on Sundays)

...I'll reward myself with bowling, or billiards, or the hot tub tonight, after the AA meeting...we have a recreation centre at Homewood....maybe crafts or horticulture, not sure.
