ItsmeAlice...You're AWESOME! I loved reading your update...it was UPlifting

As for me, my "massive" goal is already started: I've begun a D.E.S.S. ("Diplôme d'étude supérieure spécialisé" or "specialized graduate diploma"). I've been waffling around for a year, wondering what to do with myself, because I'm so not happy being a legal assistant. I thought about HR management or similar business-y things, but it felt frustrating to have to "start over" when i already have a B.Ed. (bachelor's of education). So I found myself a nice 30 credit graduate diploma that can be completely totally online (there aren't a lot of these programs here in Canada).

Despite the challenge of going back to school 10 years after I graduated from university and doing graduate work IN FRENCH, I've managed to complete the first course and got myself a nifty A+. I'm now doing the second one.

Usually, such degrees can be completed within a year full-time, but seeing as I work FT and I'm a single mom to a busy toddler, I can't handle more than 1 grad course per term. My goal is to do 3 courses per year, and hopefully, in 3 years, I'll be done. After that, who knows...perhaps I can find myself some interesting job someplace that allows me to work from home part-time.
