I've actually heard that joke a bit different..
"How many Alanon's does it take to screw in a lightbulb"
"None, they ignore it and let it screw itself"
And on the other side..
"How many alcoholics does it take to screw in a lightbulb"
"Just one - he holds the lightbulb and the whole world revolves around him."
I think they're both kinda funny actually
