Glad you're here and wanting to get sober. I doubted whether I could (or even wanted to) quit drinking, but talking to others who are going through the same thing gave me the hope and confidence I needed to take that step.
The realization that I couldn't stop finally lead me to accept my alcoholism. I tried controlling it for years (anything except stop altogether!) and it turned out to be a losing battle.
None of us can do this alone. Get all the support you need and take it a day at a time. If we can do it, so can you!
