Grateful that my neighborhood was not one of the ones that lost power during our ice storm. The whole north end of town was without electricity for over a day. So grateful I wasn't one of them.
Grateful that my sober life allows me to
choose to be happy.
I'm happy inside so have sandbags of happiness as a defense against any tidal waves of misery.
Grateful that my 'poor me' attitude is becoming a thing of the past.
Grateful that my happy healthy dogs have a happy sober mommy.
