Does he live with his family? Have you called them to see if he is there? If he lives alone, I agree with calling the police for a well-check or even going to his home and checking on him yourself. If the situation warrants, you can then call emergency. Of course you cannot control what he does, but if you feel he is in danger, it only makes sense to help if you can.
Yeah he lives with his family. I just received word that they found him and he is now at home sleeping. He has had issues with the law and is on parole.
Some of the issues that were brought up yesterday included violence with a weapon against his own family which was not reported to the police. I honestly fear that if I call the police for a well-check that they will find out that I did it.
I do agree that he needs to be institutionalized or at least evaluated by someone with experience in these types of matters. He is currently a nightmare to watch, his composure is absolutely heartbreaking.
