Maggie, I too worked out at the gym almost daily while drinking 4-6 drinks the night before (and much, much more on days off), so I hear where you're coming from. I also ate healthy and took vitamins. I think the exercise can help off-set the severity of the withdrawal, but not eliminate it altogether. As others have suggested, drinking lots of fluids and taking a B complex vitamin can help. If you give in now and drink, then you'll just have to go through this process all over again. If the symptoms are that bad, then ask your doctor to prescribe something that can help you get through the next few days. Once you get through this, you'll enjoy the physical exercise even more--at least, that's been the case for me.
