is short, but don't you think alcohol will shorten it even more? I really can't add to what everyone's already said (and after all, it's up to you as far as what you choose to do), but I hope you can hear how your post must sound to most of us here. Just a little quote for thought:
One of the dreams of an alcoholic is to be able to go back to social drinking. You’d probably have to be an alcoholic to have that kind of dream. Social drinkers just don’t think in those terms.
