One of the reasons I decided to quit was my new English Mastiff puppy. She was so vulnerable, & expected such good things from me. She needed her walks several times a day, and I wasn't "present", just went through the motions as I walked along drinking booze from a coffee cup. I did the basics, but my heart wasn't in it - and she deserved better. I added her to my list of reasons why I had to stop poisoning myself, and it helped so much.
