Well my friends,
Day one is over, and for the first time in I dont know how long I will be going to bed sober. So looking forward to waking in the morning with a clear head and knowing that all I have to do is take it hour by hour.
I also attended my first meeting tonight, we talked about complacency. Ok they talked, I listened.
Please be thinking of me and preying for me that as my head clears further and I feel better and better that I do not become complacent.
This disease has so many pitfalls and so many traps, as a newbie its enough to scare you to death. However, if I can do one day I can do two as long as I always remember, I am an alcoholic and I cannot drink, I cannot control it, and the only way to handle it is abstinance.
Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers and thanks again from the bottom of my heart for being there,
