Two things. First thing an alcoholic does is turn the tables.
You've got the problem, not him.
Secondly, to echo Gabe's comments, it's a technicolor dream to think he will respect any
limit you impose on him. On the contrary, he may drink more. Any attempts by my wife to control the amount I ingested resulted in more drinking.
