I will be 2 years sober. TWO YEARS!!!!!!!
Most of you know my story. Daily drinker/drunk for 30 years.
Sometimes....it's just hard to comprehend that I do have the gift of sobriety. I remember when I quit.....thinking, if I can just make it to a month...then a half year....then a year.
And now. I feel great. I still read a LOT about alcoholism. I think I always will. My hope is that I will never become complacent in my sobriety. Never take it for granted.
Newbies....you CAN do this. There is relief....and it can start with SR.
